So, my friend Magnus + friends had this project for a couple of years called Kronofonika, where they made songs every day for a whole year, and this year they’re doing it again. Only difference is that I’m joining them this year. Not for a song a day but at least once a week. So here’s my latest one. An old noise track I made back in 2008. It’s about ten minutes of beautiful ranges of noise. Enjoy

Hey world. I know that we both kind of neglected this blog ever since I installed that Instagram plugin. I guess that’s better than nothing. What do you think? Anyways, just wanted to write some lines about nothing at at all. Life has been going on as usual. Bandit’s cast is gone. Hanna is still in LA—editing our spots. I’m in SF dealing with all the other medias. We’re still working on this Nintendo project, that’s been going on since May or so I think. Ever since we got back from Stockholm. Our first spot has been released. There will be six more. Nicolas Winding Refn directed them. I just picked up my new glasses. Reviewing them now. Been calling a lot of support lines lately. So far today—three. I average in about one-two a day lately, I think. If we’re friends on Facebook you’ve might have noticed this Interest getting added. Since I don’t have anything better to say—bye for now. I’m recovering a cold right now. Bought as much drugs as I can. Even those you have to show your ID to get. They’re the best. OK toodles, love.

Our new project is launched: Band of Bridges

We’ve been working on this project since August, and now it finally launched. We (Goodby, Silverstein & Partners) worked with Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy for the Golden Gate 75th Anniversary, together with Google (Maps division) to create this celebration of bridges all over the world. Basically we let users find and connect their favorite bridges, on Google Maps to create this really long snake-like mega bridge.

Played one ball. Went well. It was way too crowded to be able to play for real. And too bright to enjoy it. Apart from that it was amazing. Looks like an indoor forest of some sort. Stayed for like 20 minutes and then went to Mezzanine where we saw Yuksek live performance. It was really over my expectations. Nothing like Crystal Fighters the night before, but really good for being an electronic pop act.

Can be found at Blackbird Bar on Market and Church. It’s a Chipotle Bloody Mary. Glad I’ve finally found a good one. This city has so many crappy Bloody Mary’s. I myself is sort of a master of making Bloody Mary’s, so if you ever have the chance—let me make one for you.
The Creators Project

Went to The Creators Project last weekend. It was this art event/music festival hosted by Vice and Intel, and this was their second one after the one in New York last year. Basically two big hangars in Fort Mason, filled with interactive art in one of them and shows in the other one. Loads of bands played but the bands I came for were Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Zola Jesus. I don’t think I’ve had that much fun in a long time. Started out with bottomless mimosas with a bunch of Swedish dudes plus Micah. The rest is forgotten. Above is one of the art pieces. In the end of the night—everyone was laying on the ground watching and listening to this cube of leds and speakers.
