Last night’s show

Finally got to see Two Door Cinema club last night, after missing them last time they were in the city, which was in April or so, due to long work hours. That was a crappy night. I still remember it as it was yesterday. Disappointment reinvented. Anyways. Went to Slim’s last night. Spent two fucking hours waiting for the two sucky opening acts to finish. Okay the last one was okay sometimes, but the first was pure shit. Anyways at ten o’clock they went on and it was great and they played all their best songs (which is pretty much all songs) plus a totally new one which was okay. I just kept wondering how much back tracks they actually used. I guess I’ll never find out. Also might have shook hands with the singer outside their tour bus before the show. Might have been someone else from Ireland. I guess I’ll never find that out either. So here I am. It’s Friday and I’m full of questions. Oh, did I mention it’s a half day today? So long lovers

Didn’t daylight saving time used to end earlier, before Halloween? Yes, but in 2007, the United States extended daylight saving time with the goal of saving energy by allowing for more daylight in the afternoon. The real energy savings is a matter of debate but there is no push to bring it back the old daylight savings schedule any time soon.
Many parents preferred the old daylight saving time schedule so that they could take their kids out trick or treating when it is dark but still relatively early in the evening, especially on years like this when Halloween falls on a school night.
